An incredible pair of Stuart crystal earrings from an iconic period of the English monarchy. Mounted in silver with classic gold wirework designs.

Crafted between 1650 and 1730, Stuart crystal jewels were first made to show support and sympathy for the executed king Charles I by the people loyal to the Stuart monarchy. Later in the 17th century they were worn by the Jacobites. The fashion continued until the death of Queen Anne the last Stuart monarch.
